A beautiful, minimal + modern intimate backyard wedding in Connecticut with the most beautiful dinner reception, packed with dried florals.
Dana and David’s small backyard wedding was something out of a magical Pinterest board of your dreams. When I met Dana and David about a week before their wedding I instantly felt connected to them and their story. Dana was literally the most laid back bride I remember when I first got an email from her, she made it so clear that she just wanted to be married to David, she doesn’t need all the glitz and glam – she just wanted forever with David and to have her closest people there.
They originally had planned for a big wedding Cape Cod Memorial Day wedding but decided to go with a smaller wedding of 10 in the backyard of their beautiful home. Although the florals were made by a separate vendor and she ordered very few rentals, the decor was all Dana + I just love how everything turned out.
Dana and David’s wedding was so special. Their families are so close knit, you can literally feel their love for both Dana and David pouring out. From the quiet moments where Dana and David’s mom would wipe their happy tears, to small whispers of their grandma saying how beautiful Dana was in her dress – every moment of this day was beautiful and will forever be treasured. They welcomed me with open arms (well no hugging because of COVID) but it was more of a feeling. I felt so welcomed by both of their families. I can literally talk about Dana and David’s wedding and family forever so why don’t we just cut to looking at the pictures haha!
Also how cute is Dana and David’s niece. Literally could not stop taking pictures of her throughout the day – she is ADORABLE.
