Ria had the best vision for her engagement session with Sanjiv. They wanted their engagement photos to be super untraditional and fun. The idea behind this shoot was “after a night out in NYC.” This session felt very much like that picture of Chrissy Tiegen, John Legend, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian dressed to the nines, sitting at the Waffle House after a night out. We started our session drinking the best cocktails at The Spaniard. Management saw we were shooting Ria and Sanjiv’s engagement photos so they gave us shots on the house, how sweet is that?! We then walked to get some fries, hailed down a cab that JUST SO HAPPEN TO HAVE THE PROMO PICTURE FOR THE MOVIE “MARRY ME” (how COINCIDENTAL IS THAT?!) We literally had no idea until Sanjiv pointed it out 10 mins into the shoot. After that we went to the subway and got some killed direct-flash subway shots. All in all, a perfect night with the perfect couple.
