May + Kenol’s intimate wedding was so special. When I first spoke to them over FT to get to know them better + get a better understanding of the wedding aesthetic, May said she wanted to keep it simple because the greenery at the venue was so beautiful on it’s own. This venue is so aesthetically pleasing on it’s own that if you don’t want to add any extra decor, you really don’t have to. They decided to opt out of the typical ceremony arch and instead have the wall of greenery be the backdrop where they recited their vows. After the ceremony, May + Kenol sat with their closest loved ones + shared stories, laughed + celebrated life and love. Something I will never forget is when everyone broke into song during dinner. They sung together in Haitian Creole + it was such a spiritual out of body experience watching them connect through music. May + Kenol, I love you. I’m so honored I got to be a part of this day with you both!
