How I approach sessions is different with every couple. I'm able to gauge how to go about documenting their stories based on the connection that I build with all my couples through the multiple video calls we will have. A big part of what I do is trust based. I do my absolute best work when I feel like my couples trust me. Some couples show their love with gentle touches, others show their love through butt grabs and making out. So my approach to documenting will be completely different. I will gently guide you throughout our session but I'm not a photographer who constantly inserts myself through the majority of the session with rigid posing. I know this can sound daunting if you feel as though you're going to need that but trust that about 90% of the couples I've worked with have contacted me and said, "we aren't comfortable in front of a camera" and left their time with me feeling secure, comfortable and relaxed. Think of this as a hang out and I'll be taking some cute pics of you along the way. 

I want you to enjoy your wedding day. You are going to put countless hours making this day feel authentic to you both and there's so much detail that goes into planning a wedding. It breaks my heart when I see couples on social media speak on how they either didn't eat the food during cocktail hour or felt like they only got 1 hour of solid dance time with their friends. You are going to want to savor every moment with the people you cherish the most and that is my main goal in working with my couples. To build a timeline that has breathing room and to document the day as it naturally unfolds. This shouldn't feel like a glorified photo shoot. You should have time to take in the day, to have pockets of peace and simply enjoy.
