Meet Amanda + Barry. This wedding was one that reminded me why I love being a wedding photographer. Not even because we got great shots. The overall feel of the day felt like a deep breathe in and a deep breathe out.

Amanda’s energy throughout the day was one filled with peace, joy and appreciation. her bridesmaids echoed that, embracing her with affirmations, smiles and positive energy.

When I got to Barry for the first look, he was enjoying beers with his buddies and kickin’ it. no stress, just excitement to finally see Amanda in all her bad ass glory.

When they finally saw each other, you could just feel that they were so happy for this day to finally be here. It truly felt like a celebration not just for love but for life and family, for those physically present and not.

it was an honor getting to experience the quiet moments with them, to step away for these intimate sunset portraits and capture them truthfully. Amanda teared up a few times during these portraits. Witnessing her being so overwhelmed with love at just the sight of Barry was so moving and made me appreciate even more the delicate moments I get to be a part of.
